48hrs in Vietnam's Most Beautiful City
Sapa located in North Vietnam is one of the most touristic town in the country and even though it is quite small, it doesn't disappoint.
Let's start with accommodations. There are tons of hotels around but we highly suggest that would book a cottage like we did. The views you get from one of those is worth everything. Our little mountain cottage had two rooms, a small kitchen and a balcony i wrlooking the famous rice terraces of Sapa.

The Sapa city center is mainly restaurants and tourist shops so for a more fun and authentic experience, we highly suggest doing a Vietnamese cooking class. We went to the Sapa Market, bought all our incredients from fresh lemon grass to rice noodle and pork and made bun cha from scratch. It was fun and delicious!

The most popular thibg to do while in Sapa is to go to the top of Fansipan Mountain. Be aware that the weather in town does not reflect the weather on to of Mount Fansipan. In fact, it is cloudy up there more tday than not. With that being said, it is still a fun thing to do in Sapa for the funicular and cable car rides which are just breathtaking.

And let's not forget the black chicken hot pot at Anise restaurant. This was delicious and I would even say a must eat while in Sapa!
