An EV with a real personality? (Cupra Tavascan 2025 Review)

The Cupra Tavascan will soon go on sale in Australia with its eyes on the hot fully electric midsize SUV segment currently dominated by the Tesla Model Y.

Available in a choice of two grades with prices set to start in the $60,000 range, the Tavascan is designed to be a more dynamic take on the EV formula.

Sharing a platform with the Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID4, the Tavascan seeks to stand out with both its external and internal design flare but will it be enough to entice drivers?

To find out if this EV is worth considering, journalist Olek Novak drives the new Cupra to see how it performs on Aussie roads.
