How BMWs Get Destroyed

The BMW Group Recycling and Dismantling Center (RDC) is a crucial component of the company’s sustainability efforts. Although it might not be widely recognized, it’s where BMW’s environmental commitment is most clearly demonstrated. By recovering and reusing parts from end-of-life vehicles, BMW ensures that up to 30% of the materials in their new cars are recycled. Annually, the center processes up to 10,000 vehicles, recycling up to 95% of each car. This dedication to sustainability is a core principle of BMW’s operations, and it’s a practice that won’t be changing any time soon.
