Today our mission is to eat the spiciest Malaysian food in Kuala Lumpur and work our way up to the world’s spiciest chili pan mee noodles. But the question is… will I be able to handle the heat?

Fatimah Selera Kampung (https://maps.app.goo.gl/88UpB1C4e81twQqYA) - First, we’re warming up with one of my favorite Malaysian food, Asam Pedas, a sour and spicy stew of fish. This family run Malay restaurant in Kampung Baru is fantastic. Price - 50 RM ($11.74)

Kin Kin Restaurant (https://maps.app.goo.gl/wZRmnDGBnC875d7m6) - Serving the original Chili Pan Mee, this legendary spicy noodle dish is one of the best noodles dishes in Malaysia. They are known for their extremely spicy chili that you add on yourself. Price - 12 RM ($2.84)

Nasi Kukus Ilham Mutiara Damansara (https://maps.app.goo.gl/PSqmx1yiX5vEr8826) - I’ve been to Malaysia many times, but this was my first time to try Nasi Kukus, a dish originating from Kelantan, and it’s already become one of my favorite Malaysian dishes - and that sambal is fire! Price - 8.49 RM ($2.01)

Shi Fu Wantan Mee Restaurant (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ShNyvGDSLSjZUeJK7) - But nothing will prepare you for the World’s Spiciest Chili Pan Mee. It’s insanely spicy and comes with a waiver and a serious sign of caution. Do you think I can eat it? Price - 35 RM ($8.28)
