As a Russian, I've always been told that many countries in Central & Eastern Europe don't like us - even around family gatherings I would often hear how Poland hates Russia. And since I left Russia after the start of the Ukraine war, Russian propaganda has been working overtime to tell Russians that Poland is NOT SAFE to visit. But is it true? I recently visited Poland and my experience has been quite different - it's actually way more welcoming than I expected.
