Is this Tesla-eater the best electric car money can buy? (Porsche Taycan Turbo S 2025 Review)

In the middle of 2024 Porsche released a facelifted Taycan with not a lot of fanfare. And it turns out that Stuttgart had performed a lot of polishing under familiar skin to make its electric flagship the best it could be.

In assessment, the purple Porsche laid down the electric gauntlet. Amazing range. Super-fast charging. And a 0-100km/h performance that reset the Chasing Cars podium to a lofty new high.

Is the Taycan Turbo S the best electric car money can buy, bar none? Watch on to find out deputy editor Curt Dupriez’ thoughts.
