MBUX Generations are brand new multimedia systems and are sadly not software updates. They are only found on new models or facelifts and are NOT backwards compatible. I would love to include what generations are found on specific models but there is no easy way to showcase this. As such you can tell what generation you have by looking at the paragraph below, message me and I'll try to help or chat to someone who works at Mercedes and they can advise.
