I start in the beautiful bay of Kotor which has the oldest town in Montenegro framed by the iconic St Johns Fortress which snakes up the mountain, it's breath-taking! I then visit the coastal gems of Sveti Stefan and Budva Riviera, with King's beach and Queen's beach being standouts, before venturing inland to the mountains, Skadar Lake, and some amazing wineries to try traditional Montenegrin wine, food and experience Montenegrin hospitality. This small country blew me away! It's got so much natural beauty with its majestic mountains and beautiful Adriatic Sea, as well as friendly locals and delicious cuisine. It's also an easy trip from Dubrovnik, Croatia across the border, so you can combine both trips in one.
