My hope for Mercedes is restored

Mercedes is developing a fully electric version of the E-Class that is expected to debut around 2027. Instead of using the current EQE design language, it will have a more classic luxury sedan shape similar to today’s E-Class, but with modern EV styling cues.

It will ride on Mercedes’ next-generation electric platform, offering improved efficiency, technology, and performance over current EQ models. While exact specifications aren’t confirmed yet, it’s expected to deliver long range, fast charging, and advanced driver assistance.

The electric E-Class will play a key role in Mercedes’ shift toward a more premium, tech-focused electric lineup.
