New KIA K8 (2025) Ready to Rival the Toyota Camry?

The new Kia K8 has undergone a significant mid-cycle facelift, despite it being labeled as a minor update. The front end now features vertical headlights and a redesigned bumper, with a new LED strip connecting the lights. Kia’s logo has been relocated to the bottom of the hood. The rear changes are subtler, but the fake exhaust tips have been removed, and the bumpers have been slightly extended.

Inside, the 2025 Kia K8 gets updated climate controls, more soft-touch materials, and an ambient light strip across the dashboard. Notably, the seatbelt buckles now light up, and the car includes 10 airbags standard. The adaptive high beam headlights are another new safety feature.

The 2025 Kia K8 offers several engine options: a base 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 195 hp, a 3.5-liter V6 with 296 hp (and available all-wheel drive), a 3.5 LPI with 237 hp, and a 1.6-liter hybrid producing 227 hp. The car, comparable in size to the BMW 5 Series, starts at around $27,300, with the top model priced at $37,800. Most versions are available this month, except for the hybrid, which will be released after certification is obtained.
