On May 4, 2025, The New York Times revealed that Israel is preparing to send a refurbished Patriot missile system to Ukraine — a move approved under the Biden administration but reportedly unknown to President Trump. Just a day later, Reuters reported that Europe may follow suit with more Patriots ahead of the late June 2025 NATO summit.
