A few days ago I uploaded a video reviewing a new Russian TV show, which is basically a Z propaganda sitcom about Joe Biden. The video took a long time to make and was almost an hour long. I was pretty annoyed when I learned that my video got taken down by GAZPROM - a Russian governmental company. And of course, my video was fair use. The video just got reinstated, but I still have questions. How is Russia still able to copyright strike content on YouTube, when YouTube deletes Russian channels and has turned off AdSense for Russian YouTubers? Why are we even respecting Russian copyright when Russia does not respect copyright whatsoever since 2022? Let's talk about my copyright strike from Gazprom Media and what it means.
