In the light of US president Trump's recent statements on Ukraine and Zelenskyy and the talks between Russia and USA, a lot of people are slowly coming to a realisation that Putin might get away with it. Z Russians are already celebrating their victory and are getting excited about Western brands coming back. Many of them make fun of Russians who left, saying their immigration was in vain. But is it true? As a Russian who left Russia 3 years ago, I find all of this very interesting, and it really reminds me of how Russian immigrants felt after the creation of the USSR. Is Putin's Russia going to be 'just fine', and did I make a mistake by leaving Russia? Let's talk about it.
