How One Woman Replaced a Village in Japan

In the mountains of Shikoku Japan sits a dying village with only 25 remaining residents. Once home to festivals and lively residents, one woman has taken it on herself to change everything. This is the story of Ayano Tsukimi who over the past 20 years has filled Nagoro village with hundreds of Japanese Kakashi Scarecrow dolls - I visited the village years ago, but never got to tell her story. I promised her I would go back, and so... We finally did.
