Subaru’s 1000km driving range hybrid! (Subaru Forester 2025 walkaround review)

The sixth-generation Subaru Forester is almost here in Australia, due to go on sale halfway through this year.

In today’s first look at the Forester, we get hands-on with this popular midsize SUV, take you through its design, the updated interior and the Toyota-sourced hybrid system.

The new system claims to be efficient enough for over 1000km of range, as well as being stronger and generally more efficient than the previous-generation Forester.

Competing with the likes of the Toyota RAV4, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson hybrid models, the midsize SUV returns with its own rugged twist.
