Renault’s famous Megane nameplate is back in Australia, though this time it represents the French brand’s first electric car to be offered locally.

The Megane E-Tech is a compact crossover available in just one specification in Australia: a front-drive variant powered by a single 160kW/300Nm electric motor.

It’s priced from about $60,000 driveaway after initially being positioned from $70K driveaway by Renault Australia.
