Three months with this RAV4 Hybrid rival (Kia Sportage GT-Line Hybrid Long Term review)

One of the newest contenders in the mainstream midsize SUV segment boasting hybrid power is the 2024 Kia Sportage. It takes on the huge selling Toyota RAV4 and relative newcomers in Nissan X-Trail, Honda CR-V and the just launched Hyundai Tucson petrol-electrics.

Chasing Cars’ Zak Adkins has landed a top-spec GT-Line for a three-month loan, with a target of 5000 kilometres of urban and mixed country driving. The Sportage GT-Line Hybrid lists for $55,420, or around $60K on road.

Zak kicks off his experience with the SUV he’s nicknamed ‘Fillipe’, outlines his plans for the coming months, and takes us for a tour of some of the highlights.

Stay tuned for more updates on Zak’s Sportage GT-Line Hybrid long-term experience.
