The G99-chassis BMW M5 Touring is finally here, and we race it against the other hot wagon, the C8-chassis Audi RS6 Performance, which gets larger turbos for even more power.

The Battle of the Wagons meets the hatchback Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, which shares its chassis and powertrain with the shockingly fast Bentley Continental GT Speed — and the Mercedes S63 AMG E Performance, which pairs an electric motor with a separate 2-speed rear transmission a la C43 AMG, but keeps its twin-turbocharged V-8 up front.

In a world where SUVs dominate the market, here's a celebration of things that aren't — longroofs always get bonus points in our book. (Not that these rockets will need help in a speed contest!)
