After visiting all of the popular islands in Thailand including Koh Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi and others, I can honestly say that Koh Chang has become my new favorite. It reminds me of what the other Thai islands were like before they were over developed with tourism. Yet Koh Chang, especially Kai Bae Beach has some incredible restaurants, a hand full of beach bars, and the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen.
