This is one of the hardest stories we've ever had to tell. Experiencing Syria today, speaking to both our Christian Syrian friend Touma and our Palestinian/Syria friend Ghaidaa, we learned what life was truly like growing up here.

We know many parts in here will be shocking, thought provoking or hard to swallow for many, but we feel responsible to share this story after what we experienced and heared.

Our intention here is to share real-life witness stories of our friends we've learned to love and through that to shed light on the realities of our world today.

A few days after we left, revenge attacks were committed against people of the Alawite Sect and Christians, which we were devastated to see. Although some are celebrating their recent freedom, many are living in fear in the country today and we pray that peace will ultimately prevail in the country and between all in the region.

As humans, we deserve a world of peace. We've spent too many years in wars causing generational damage to entire populations, and it's still happening today in Gaza and the West Bank. May we come to our senses and demand peace from our leaders.

Many will interpret a call for peace as a political statement, that is for you to decide. We just do not believe that violence especially against tens of thousands of civilians is the path to any sort of long-term solution.

2 Weeks in Australia - Swimming with Crocodiles, Racing Rally Cars & Petting Kangaroos

This 2 week trip to Australia WAS INSANE!!!! We ate water buffalo in an aboriginal village, swam with salt water crocodiles, caught barramundi, raced rally cars, got introduced to Australian football, landed helicopters on waterfalls, learned to throw boomerangs and play digeridoo, ate tons of lamingtons and meat pies, got to play with baby wallabies and pet kangaroos and so much more. BEST introduction to Australia ever.

How Marine Recruits Survive Boot Camp In San Diego | Boot Camp | Business Insider

We got an inside look at the United States Marine Corps’ intense 13-week basic training program. Chief video correspondent Graham Flanagan spent five days at the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot in San Diego, California, where he observed different companies at various stages of training.

Enlisted recruits who live west of the Mississippi River attend basic training in San Diego, where women have only trained since 2021. Men and women train together, but live in separate squad bays. Male and female recruits are not allowed to talk to each other during training.

In week seven, recruits travel 40 miles north of San Diego to Camp Pendleton, where they complete their training. Boot camp culminates with a 54-hour event known as The Crucible, in which recruits endure mental and physical challenges with minimal food and sleep. After completing The Crucible, recruits receive the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor pendant, marking their official transition to Marines.
