Today the President of the US has announced that North Korea must begin to denuclearize or face serious consequences at the hands of the US. Putin has made it very clear that he has no ambitions to conduct peace talks, calling the Ukrainian government illigitimate, and another Russian ship has destroyed another undersea cable in the Baltic. Russia was hit significantly with another major Ukrainian drone attack. Denmark has now invested 2 Billion more dollars into the defense of Greenland. The President has made his intentions clear that he wants to withdraw all US forces from Syria. The President of Slovakia declared Ukraine was an enemy today, and the Ukrainian front lines have been incredibly active. North Korean troops have withdranw form the lines after taking crucial loses.

A decade or so on from the fuss and furore that occurred when Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche all launched hybrid hypercars – the LaFerrari, P1 and 918 Spyder, respectively – the trio are at it again.

This ‘second coming’ of the so-called ‘Holy Trinity’ has been long awaited – and we’ll have to wait a little longer until they all reach production fruition. But, in the meantime, given Top Gear has seen and sat in the new Ferrari F80, new McLaren W1, and the Porsche Mission X concept, we thought we’d put together a little compare-and-contrast video.

Ukraine has conducted a new wave of serious attacks against Russian pipelines, knocking out 2 of them today and ensuring that the Russian federation is no longer able to ensure it's vital economic lifeline. A state of panic is now descending across Russia as the country realizes that the war will go on, but Russian cannot. North Koreans were recalled for retraining because of large amounts of insubordination and stealing that occured between them and the Russians. A US airliner crashed in the Potomac in Washington DC after colliding with a helicopter.

Khinalyg village is one of the most ancient continuously inhabited places of the world. This is the highest continuously inhabited village in Azerbaijan and the most isolated settlement in the Caucasus. I was lucky to be invited there by a local family.

Ust Luga, the largest Russian oil port, has shut down today after fuel supplies and reserves have collapsed in storage capacity across Russia. This port accounts for 20% of all exports of Russian oil. The Russian federation appears to be panicking, and has ramped up offensive efforts in Kursk after the withdrawal of North Korean soldiers. This has gone poorly, as heavy losses have been taken, and the Russian attack was forced to retreat. In Syria, the Interim government is demanding of Russia the return of Assad and reparations for war damages. Russian ICBM's are reportedly facing major issues.

The Defender OCTA has piqued our interest ever since a viral video showed a prototype smoking a four-wheel drift around the Nürburgring.

The definitive spec proved no less enticing: it’s the most powerful Defender ever, with a 635hp V8; Land Rover has raised it by 28mm and widened it by 68mm; braking is by Brembo; and the hydraulically interlinked ‘6D Dynamics’ suspension is akin to a top-end McLaren.

And now we get to drive it, thrashing it over the toughest trails that South Africa can throw at it.
