Our second highlight (which is truly our number one favorite thing in all of Mombasa now) was of course the Istanbul Cave Restaurant! Yes, the location inside a coral cave is stunning but apart from the they truly delivered on the food side. This was true and authentic Turkish food and every dish was better than the last. Even if you do not book a stay at the Flamingo Resort, you at least need to dine at the cave restaurant during your next stay in Mombasa!

And let's not forget about the jetski and catamaran by Wave Warrior Watersport. This was just so thrilling. The perfect activities to add to your already perfect beach getaway.

I Visited the MOST DANGEROUS Country in the World

I have been thinking about visiting Afghanistan for a few years now and I finally was able to do it. Welcome to Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan where my journey around the country starts. I am here to meet the Afghan people, learn about their history and culture and of course eat the Afghan street food.

After a quick stop at my $22 hotel it was time to hit the streets of Kabul and start exploring the Old Bazaar where I got a couple traditional Afghan outfits for my stay. I also had to try some Afghan street food as eating is literally my favorite part of travelling. Pomegranate juice, bulani, doogh and all the fresh fruits you can imagine as they were in season. Afghan street food is for sure a highlight for me!

From there we kept walking around Kabul and its different market, food joints and just kept being amazing by this interesting city. Visiting the last box photographer of Afghanistan was also such a unique experience especially as a photography enthusiast.

Something that surprised me, was how many green spaces Kabul had just like Babur Gardens. Kabul is truly a city full of life, history, welcoming people and delicious Afghan food of course. I really hope you are going to enjoy this Afghanistan travel vlog series.

Kenyan Airbnb With a View

The view you get when staying at The House on the Ridge is one of the most incredible in whole of Kenya!

other than the view, this little oasis of a house is ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of Nairobi without actually going that far. This Airbnb is located in Ngong about 1 hour outside of Kenya's capital, Nairobi.

The House itself can host up to 6 people but is really ideal for a couple getaway. But if you are a group of 6, this truly becomes an affordable stay! This mountain cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook, live and have a good time.

The pool is a very nice add on but the sundowner deck with a fireplace is the truly highlight.

No, there is no wine but they have some delicious mocktails that will pair well with every dish.

The safari camp itself is one of the most beautiful we have seen in Kenya. Located on an escarpment, you will get some incredible views from the main lodge and from your safari suite which has a private jacuzzi. The rooms are spacious, the beds more than comfortables and the coffee bar always stocked with juices, snacks and more.

Because it is located in the Mara Triangle, you are pretty much guaranteed some of the must incredible game drives in Kenya. The Masai Mara National Park is known worldwide its incredible wildlife including elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, leopards, rhinos and more. If you are lucky enough, you might even see the big fives during your stay at Pearl Mara, who knows.
