The Ferrari Purosangue has divided opinion like few supercars before it. This is Ferrari's first ever 4-seater, 4-door supercar, but it is also the world's only naturally aspirated V12 powered SUV.

Opting to use the V12 presented a huge challenge for the engineers, in terms of weight distribution, handling and occupant space in the rear seats.

So, have Ferrari cracked the ultimate SUV formula? Or is this just a very expensive marketing exercise from Maranello?

We sent our video journalist Ciro De Siena out into the deserted Cape Farms to find out.
