This ā€“ deep breath ā€“ is the new Ferrari F80. The successor to LaFerrari. And by extension, a halo Ferrari supercar with a lineage that stretches back from LaFerrari, through Enzo, F50 and F40, to 288 GTO. No pressure, thenā€¦

Itā€™s a once-a-decade occurrence, the LaFerrari having been revealed way back in 2013. That car was Ferrariā€™s first hybrid, with the electrically boosted V12 powertrain pumping 963hp to the rear wheels. Eleven years on, thereā€™s more electrical assistance, more power, more driven wheels, much more aero, but fewer cylindersā€¦

FIRST LOOK: Porsche 911 GT3 ā€” Whatā€™s New?

Not one but two new Porsche 911 GT3s are upon us, both a regular be-winged car and the more subtle Touring model. And for once, the headline news isnā€™t the power, the peak revs or the NĆ¼rburgring lap time, but how practical it is.

Thatā€™s right, because for the first time in the 25-year history of the GT3, itā€™s being offered with back seats. Itā€™s only for the Touring, but that addition alone will be enough to start The Internet chattering about whether this is ā€˜all the car youā€™ll ever needā€™.

However, if kids, or at least taking your kids with you, isnā€™t your thing, then worry not. The back seats are merely an option, and the non-Touring GT3 canā€™t be had with them at all. Plus, if youā€™re the sort of Porsche purest who hates weight, you can double down on that ethos with either a Weissach pack for the GT3 or a Leichtbau (aka Lightweight) pack for the Touring.

Why Is This G-Wagen Wearing A Moncler Puffer Jacket?

This madness before you is the Mercedes ā€˜Project Mondo Gā€™, a monstrously large G-Wagen with wheels and a roof inspired by posh puffer jackets.

The astonishing off-roader-come-moon buggy is officially designated as an ā€˜art pieceā€™, made its debut at London Fashion Week 2023, and is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and high-end outwear brand Moncler.

Fast forward to today, and it now has a baby brother too, once again a tie-up with Moncler, and once again complete with quilted fabric roof. Plus! The latest Merc/Moncler G is also going to sire an ultra-exclusive run of 20 modern G-Classes, with bespoke paint and interior trimmings.

FIRST DRIVE: New BMW M5 ā€“ Too Much Weight To Be Great?

Thereā€™s no getting away from the fact the new BMW M5 is a bit of a porker. The previous-generation super-saloon weighed 1895kg; this new one is 540kg moreā€¦

Blame the plug-in, hybridised V8, which delivers more power (up 140bhp) and torque (up 184lb ft) than the last M5, and a parsimonious 160mpg+ on the WLTP fuel test. And while figures like those probably looked enticing when BMW started development years ago, enthusiasts arenā€™t exactly lapping up electrified performance cars in 2024ā€¦

But, but, butā€¦ this is also an all-new BMW M5! Itā€™s the stuff of legend, with a long legacy of always being top dog over and above rivals from Audi and Mercedes. And while thereā€™s yet to be a new AMG version of the E-class, and Audi will soon end production of the RS6 and RS7, the M5 is here, and with a stonkingly powerful V8 too. Downsizing is not in effect!

Mazda has been pushing into luxury territory lately, and the all-new CX-70 is no exception. But can Mazda really compete with brands like Lexus, Audi, Infiniti, and Acura? To find out, we decided to compare it with another recent luxury contender, the Genesis GV80. Today, we're looking at two of the newer faces in the premium crossover world to see how they stack up. On one side, weā€™ve got the first-ever Mazda CX-70, which is basically a two-row version of the CX-90. On the other, weā€™ve got the Genesis GV80, originally launched by Hyundaiā€™s luxury division back in 2021, now refreshed for 2025. Thereā€™s a bit of a price gap between these two, but they have a lot in commonā€”both pack turbocharged six-cylinder engines, have head-turning looks inside and out, and come with full-time all-wheel drive. So, how do these two challengers fare against each other and the well-established competition in the ultra-competitive luxury crossover segment? Letā€™s find out.
