Bostock v. Clayton County was a huge victory for LGBT+ rights in the United States. More than any other Supreme Court case in history, the Bostock decision made it clear that if an employer was going to discriminate against an employee based on their sexual orientation or gender identity, they would be breaking the law. The Clayton County Board of Commissioners ultimately paid Gerald Bostock $825,000 in damages for his wrongful termination.
