Lexus unveiled the new IS model for the first time in the world on Tuesday, September 9th. The new model is scheduled to be released in various regions from early 2026.

Since the first model was released in 1999, the IS has pursued the "joy of driving" as a compact FR sports sedan. It has continued to evolve to become the cornerstone of the Lexus driving experience, garnering praise for its high driving performance and the sporty design that hints at it, and has sold a total of approximately 1.3 million units in approximately 40 countries and regions around the world over the course of more than a quarter century. During development, the IS has been driven extensively in various locations around the world, including Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama, in the continued pursuit of the driving experience that is unique to Lexus, the "Lexus Driving Signature."

This model is available in two variants: IS300h and IS350 . *1 With "maturity" as the key concept for development, the IS has further refined the "comfortable driving experience that allows the driver to interact with the car" and "aggressive, sporty design" that the previous IS models have pursued.
In terms of driving, the aim was to further enhance the vehicle's comfortable steering feel and stability. The electric power steering (EPS *2 ) employs a variable gear *3 to reduce the steering angle at intersections and rapid curves, thoroughly pursuing a more comfortable steering feel. Furthermore, the adoption of a linear solenoid-type AVS *4 achieves both high-level vehicle stability and road shock reduction, resulting in an even more comfortable driving experience.
The exterior design has been revamped, with a new front face that further emphasizes the low center of gravity and wide stance, further accentuating the powerful and bold styling. The "F SPORT" model features a newly shaped rear spoiler with enhanced aerodynamic performance. Additionally, the IS features newly designed 19-inch lightweight aluminum wheels *5 , which hint at a nimble ride .
The body color lineup includes a new Neutrino Gray, a solid light gray with a metallic finish that evokes a sense of speed and a sense of speed. This sporty color lineup offers a total of eight colors *1
, offering a wide selection to suit your needs. The interior design prioritizes functionality, the most important aspect of a compact, rear-wheel-drive sports sedan cockpit, and allows the driver to concentrate on the road. The center display has been enlarged to 12.3 inches, ensuring high visibility and operability while taking the driver's field of vision into consideration. At the same time, the TFT LCD meter directly in front of the driver's seat has also been enlarged to 12.3 inches, with a simple, easy-to-understand graphic display, providing a driving environment where the driver can receive visual information directly. The newly developed "Forged Bamboo" ornament panel on the top of the console and start switch bezel, combined with the distinctive shading of bamboo fiber, enhances the IS's powerful dynamics and sporty interior. The interior color is a newly developed "PROMINENCE," inspired by the image of a red flame covering the sun, creating an aggressive and sporty interior.
Other features include enhanced functionality for the active safety technology "Lexus Safety System +," and the inclusion of advanced driving assistance technology "Lexus Teammate Advanced Drive *6 ," which supports driving on long-distance trips and makes travel more comfortable for customers.

The rugged 2026 Honda Ridgeline lineup begins arriving at dealerships today with a new TrailSport-exclusive color (Ash Green Metallic) and a contrasting black roof option for the range-topping Black Edition, as Honda continues to increase the appeal of its American-made pickup truck. Built exclusively at the Honda auto plant in Lincoln, Alabama using domestic and globally made parts, Ridgeline is the only pickup with consecutive top 10 overall rankings on Cars.com American-Made Index® over each of the last nine years.

The 2026 Honda Ridgeline is available in four all-wheel drive trim levels, starting with the well-equipped Ridgeline Sport, which has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $40,5951 (excluding a $1,495 destination charge).

"The appealing new color options add to the Honda-exclusive features, unique unibody construction and Honda packaging magic that make the Ridgeline a standout in the pickup truck market," said Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales. "By challenging conventional thinking and setting benchmarks for versatility, capability and comfort, Ridgeline brings a higher percentage of new buyers into the Honda brand than any other product in our lineup."

The newly available paint color – Ash Green Metallic, exclusive to Honda TrailSport models – first debuted on the all-new 2026 Passport TrailSport and was recently added to the new CR-V TrailSport Hybrid. Also newly available for 2026 is the choice of either a contrasting black roof or body color roof for the Black Edition trim, in either Sonic Gray Pearl or Platinum White Pearl exterior colors.
