It's been a while - almost 3 years ago I left Russia. I first moved to Georgia, and now I live in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Russian citizen who left Russia, it wasn't really an easy task to pull off. So far, I've enjoyed my life in Lisbon - but there is one major issue: Portugal is currently in a huge bureaucratic immigration crisis, and I still haven't received my EU residency / ID card, which restricts me from traveling and several other things. It hasn't affected me too well. So, what happened and why am I having EU visa issues again? And how did I manage to get stuck in another Kafkaesque process inside Europe? Not that long ago I reacted to the Putin Tucker Carlson interview and gave my thoughts on it as a Russian. And now, continuing the tradition, it's time to react to the Lex Fridman Zelensky podcast interview. This interview with Volodymyr Zelenskyy has become controversial even before the release, as Lex Fridman demanded that the interview should be conducted in Russian. I watched the original interview in Ukrainian, Russian and English - and I do have a lot of thoughts. Let's talk about what Lex Fridman's intentions were, as well as discuss the language question and the idea of Russians and Ukrainians having dialogue. Is it even possible? We've all seen awful Russian propaganda videos that are meant to make fun of the WOKE West and promote BASED Russia. But what would happen if they turned that propaganda into a whole TV series? Well, Russia has just done it and released an awful TV show about Joe Biden. This is a review of the Russian sitcom show Goodbye (Гудбай) (2024), released by the TV channel TNT (ТНТ). It's a show about the US president Joe Biden visiting Russia that's trying to be satirical of the USA and American politics. And it's one of the worst things I've seen in a long while. Not only that, but the show is packed with Z Russian propaganda messaging, and the actor playing Biden (Dmitri Dyuzhev) is a completely deranged person.
