Sapa located in North Vietnam is one of the most touristic town in the country and even though it is quite small, it doesn't disappoint.

Let's start with accommodations. There are tons of hotels around but we highly suggest that would book a cottage like we did. The views you get from one of those is worth everything. Our little mountain cottage had two rooms, a small kitchen and a balcony i wrlooking the famous rice terraces of Sapa.

The Sapa city center is mainly restaurants and tourist shops so for a more fun and authentic experience, we highly suggest doing a Vietnamese cooking class. We went to the Sapa Market, bought all our incredients from fresh lemon grass to rice noodle and pork and made bun cha from scratch. It was fun and delicious!

The most popular thibg to do while in Sapa is to go to the top of Fansipan Mountain. Be aware that the weather in town does not reflect the weather on to of Mount Fansipan. In fact, it is cloudy up there more tday than not. With that being said, it is still a fun thing to do in Sapa for the funicular and cable car rides which are just breathtaking.

With better equipment and tactics, the West expected to end this war rapidly and get a new ally in Indochina but they couldn't have been more wrong. On our way back home we decided to stop for a few days in Wales. Even though we had been in the United Kingdom before, Wales was never a place we though of visiting but things have changed and we loved every second of our little Welsh vacation.

We rented a small Welsh Cottage on Airbnb located in South Wales which was perfect for us and Tracey's parents.

One our first full day in Wales we decided to take a road trip to Tenby a small harbour town with tons of history, small restaurants and shops and overall breathtaking views.

The following day, it was time to see the nature side of Wales and explore the famous Brecon Beacons National Park which started with the Henrhyd Falls, the actual waterfall that was used to hide the entrance of the Batcave in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. That enough was worth th drive for me. But while there we also drove around Brecon Beacons which has scenic roads and thousands of sheep.

Finally, on our last day before driving back to London to catch our flight, we took another road trip this time to North Wales. Our day started at the Harlech Castle, an impressive castle with a long story that you cannot miss during your time in Wales. After a quick Welsh fish and chips we headed to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct for one of my favorite activity of all times. We went canoeing on the tallest aqueduct in the world.
