Can Our KENYAN Land Rover Survive Canada

After driving this Land Rover Discovery 1 all over Kenya through some of the toughest terrains and made tons of memories, when it came time for us to move back from Kenya to Canada, we coudln't leave our truck behind.

Today, we are not going on safari! We are driving all the way from Halifax Nova Scotia to Quebec City in the province of Quebec. This is an over 1,000km road trip through Eastern Canada that will take our Land Rover through 3 different Canadian provinces. This is also the longest road trip this 1994 Discovery has ever seen in 2 days.

To make things more interesting and also to cut this road trip in half, we decided to stop for the night at a unique dome home with a spa that we found on Airbnb in New Brunswick. After a very nice and relaxing evening with a delicious dinner, we were recharge and ready to hit the road again.

Early the following morning and without knowing we were even close to it, we crossed the longest covered bridge in the whole world the Hartland Covered Bridge in Hartland, New Brunswick. I thought it was pretty cool.!

Finally, we made it to Quebec City where we will be for a few weeks to spend some time with my side of the family.

I Found a 3 COURSE MEAL for ยฃ5.50 in MALAYSIA!

Danny is in Kuala Lumpa, Malaysia today trying a 3 course meal for just over a fiver!


This is Nairobi's BEST Steakhouse

After walking in front of the Local Grill dozens of time as it is conveniently located inside the Village Market Mall, we finally decided to go in for dinner. My only regret is not going to this steakhouse before!

The restaurant has a very nice steakhouse look and ambiance with the open kitchen on the first floor and a nice bar on the second floor. The wood everywhere and darker tones really are a really nice touch.

Our meal started with some delicious chicken and some of the best carpaccio we have ever had. With two glasses of red of course.

From there, we went for a little surf and turf with Tracey getting a beautiful piece of salmon and myself going for a perfectly grilled T-bone steak.

To end, we shared a piece of their sticky toffee pudding which is simply one of the best dessert in the whole world!

Overall, an fantastic meal and experience as a whole. The Local Grill Restaurant in Nairobi is ideal for date night or to celebrate something special.
