Russia has fired an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile, an RS-26 Rubezh into the Ukrainian city of Dnipro overnight, as the trails of MIRV warheads were seen lighting up the night sky, slamming down into the city below. The warheads were inter kinetics and did not have onboard any nuclear weaponry however the use of the IRBM in combat was the first time in history, and a major escalation. At the same time Russian diplomats called the British government and informed them that they are at war and should expect a retaliation soon. In other news Ukraine has attacked the Kasputin Yar Launch site used to launch the IRBM and has cause serious damage. Ukrainian and Russian forces still battle on across the entire front with the Russian forces still taking exceptionally high losses and gaining practically no ground in any front.

Breaking news as the United States is changing it's nuclear doctrine to a heightened state of readiness after the Russians have claimed they have more Oreshnik Missiles and will continue to fire them in combat roles according to a statement from Putin today. US nuclear forces are now on heightened alert as they seek to deter the Russians from future escalation through a position of strength. Meanwhile a bomb scare was dispatched near the US embassy in London, the exact story is unknown but an explosion was heard nearby. Ukrainian forces are now contending with North Koreans which are now fighting in the Kursk Oblast according to reports.

There’s a secretive company in Germany that’s about to get rather a lot of attention. It’s called HWA, and in just a few days’ time will show the world its first restomod, a £700k stunner based on the Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo II.

Who? How much? Fret not, because HWA’s pedigree means its new ‘EVO’ will be worth every penny. You see, founder Hans Werner Aufrecht (hence HWA) was originally the A in AMG, and after selling up to Mercedes in the late ‘90s, set up his motorsport business and has never looked back.

HWA subsequently ran Mercedes’ DTM efforts and is the most successful team in series history. Bar Formula One, HWA has pretty much had a hand in every other Mercedes race car too, including the GT3 versions of the SLS and AMG GT. HWA also ran the Mercedes Formula E factory team, winning the driver and manufacturer titles in 2020/’21 and ‘21/’22.

Plus, it built the rare-groove CLK DTM road car, and the SL65 Black Series. Then there’s naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 for the Pagani Huayra R, that’s HWA’s own, as is all the engineering work for the recent relaunches of the Apollo and De Tomaso brands. On and on the list goes.

The United States has changed the Nuclear doctrine due to the ongoing Russian nuclear escalation, and have heightened the readiness of The Republic's nuclear forces. The Russian Federation has pledged they will be conducting even more IRBM attacks against Ukraine with kinetic and conventional warheads; a serious escalation only one step away from the actual use of a nuclear warhead in the war. Ukraine continues to battle under these dangerous skies, holding their ground and stopping any Russian advances, and also inflicting high losses.
