This video is a full review of the new Polo Black Edition. I think the phrase 'deep dive' is getting over used but I don't think it's wrong when used to describe my 30 minute+ review format where I use my 31 years driving VWs to give you the level of detail others can not.

While it's useful for content to get loan cars like these from VW, this is no way influences the opinion expressed. I do only choose cars that there is a chance I might like, hence why there are so many models I don't cover.

I actually chose this Polo for review over a new RS3 as I felt it was a more signficant car with a wider audience and it's much tougher for a £27k car to impress than a £60k one. Also it's one of the first Black Editions in the country and as such was used by VW UK for the press shots (with PO10 VWV number plates which were still slotted into the map pockets on the passenger seat!).
