President and CEO of Toyota South Africa Motors, Andrew Kirby, joined us for a conversation at the October 2024 Naamsa SA Auto Week in Cape Town, South Africa.

Kirby spoke about the humble origins of Toyota in South Africa, being a family business, to the juggernaut it is today; Toyota has topped the sales charts for 44 years now.

Kirby confirmed that Toyota will be bringing a fully electric vehicle to our market in 2025, but for now the company is riding high on a wave of hybrid sales, dominating that segment of the market.
