Welcome to El Nido on the island of Palawan in the Philippines. This place is paradise on earth with its white sand beaches, crystal blue water, beautiful little restaurants and boutique hotel all around.

During our first day, we rented some scooters and drove around El Nido to see what it is all about. We went to Nacpan Beach which was beautiful and even had lunch there as well before heading back to our hotel and enjoying a stunning sunset.

For our second day in El Nido we went on a private island hopping tour also know as Tour A. From El Nido we visited different location from Big Lagoon to Shimizu Island, Seven Commando Beach, secret Lagoon and more. The highlight was truly kayaking around Big Lagoon early in the morning before the large crowds. What an incredible bucket list experience.

That evening, we also went to Lion's Sunset Lounge El Nido for Tracey's birthday but believe it or not, I deleted that stunning footage by mistake... With that being said, the food and sunset were incredible and it is a great restaurant to visit while in El Nido in Palawan.

After the island of Palawan, the island of Cebu is most likely the second most popular place to visit while in the Philippines and this is exactly where we take you in this vlog.

By far the most popular thing to do in Cebu is Canyoneering. We decided to do our canyoneering experience in Kawasan Falls which is about 3 hours from Cebu City by car. This was an incredible adventure that you need to put at the top of your travel list for the Philippines.

Our journey started right in Lapu-Lapu City where we stayed during our time on the island. From there, we rented two scooters and drove to Cebu City where most of the tourist attractions are. We started with a great breakfast at Lakeview Le Jardin, a stunning restaurant with an incredible view. The drive to make it all the way up there was also a bit long but quite fun with some very nice views along the way.

We also visited one of the most popular garden of Cebu City called Sirao Garden. I can't say this is a must do but if you like taking some cool photos than that might just be the place to do it.

On our way down the mountain, we also stopped at the new view points called Tops Cebu City which is much more than just a view point. It has restaurant stores and so much more making it a great place to spend an evening.

Finally, we visited the Temple of Leah which is a very popular tourist attraction in Cebu City. This is a very new temple built by a wealthy local for his wife. If you need to skip one thing in your exploring day, this is the one...

Cebu also has a ton of markets and night markets but Monday is not the day to visit them apparently!
