This I found actually very scary to do. Why was it scary? The night before I left, I read this article: https://myanmar-now.org/en/news/routes-linking-yangon-and-mandalay-hit-by-mine-attacks/

I did not feel comfortable during this journey, though the journey from Yangon to Mandalay went smoothly.
