During my trip to Europe last fall, I planned a peaceful visit to Porto — just sightseeing, local food, and wandering the charming streets. But what was supposed to be a simple travel experience turned into something completely unexpected — I found myself in the epicenter of forest fires! The roads were closed and I got stuck in the city with nowhere to go and no idea what to do.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed my time there. In this video, I will tell you about this very unusual day, what new things I learned and how I finally made it out of Porto!

Today, The United States President demanded Iran surrender unconditionally and immediately in a post made on social media. Meanwhile, US forces continue to pile into the Middle East Region amidst growing fears that the US will soon join the war against Iran. Diego Garcia is currently hosting several B-52 bombers that are ready to attack at any given moment. Also, the United States President has also claimed that we now hold air superiority over the skies of Iran but declined to provide any further details. Meanwhile we have seen small Iranian attacks on Southern Israel and successful interceptions as well as more strikes around Tehran and other parts of Iran. We also received word that Russia is allegedly abandoning Iran and refusing to provide them assistance as they see the regime is weakening. Putin just signed a security agreement with Iranian officials, but now appears to be refusing to honor it. We also have news of ships on fire in the Gulf of Oman near the straight of Hormuz. In this video, I share my first impressions of Madrid as a Russian traveler. But instead of showing the usual tourist spots, I visit everyday places like a laundromat and a Spanish supermarket!

Coming from Portugal — where I got stuck because of wildfires — arriving in Spain felt like a completely different world: sunny weather, blue skies, and… a lot of Spanish. It surprised me that almost nobody switched to English with me, unlike in other European countries. So I’ll also reflect on that experience — and share some unexpected linguistic discoveries along the way!

Israel is currently conducting massive airstrikes acorss the whole of Tehran. Multiple explosions can be heard and seen through large areas of the city. Iranian air defense does not appear to be repsonding to the ongoing attacks in a successful way. hours ago the Islamic Republic of Iran has fired missiles towards the state of Israel in several volleys, targeting the major cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv in the strikes. Israeli air defense is ready to inctercept the incoming missiels, and was able to intercept all missiles fired by Iran in the prior hours. Key military bases throughout Iran have been tagreted and destroyed today, With Israel continuing to slowly break down the Iranian military. The US appears poised to join the conflcit, although no official action or statements have been made confirming that yet. We are covering these events as they develop live.
