DOES LIFE HAVE ANY PURPOSE?

Are we being lied to about the meaning of life?

That’s the question at the heart of this debate.

So I brought together three different perspectives.

A believer, an atheist, and a spiritual thinker, to try to get closer to an answer.

Many of you will know Dr K, but for the first time we’re joined by Greg Koukl and Alex O’Connor.

Dr K is a psychiatrist who works directly with people at their lowest, and he’s learned how to turn those struggles into lessons we can all use.

Greg is a Christian thinker who says meaning is real, not invented, and that purpose flows from our creator.

Alex is a philosopher who looks at life's toughest questions, from death to whether life has any real meaning at all.

We started with the uncomfortable numbers about how many young people say life feels like it lacks purpose, and the shifts we’re seeing in faith and belonging.

It’s clear something is happening in the way we all think about life.

We cover:

- Is the meaning of life real or is it just something we invent?
- Are we more lost than ever as a generation?
- Does religion really help us?
- How does fear of death shape the way we live?

As we wrapped up, I didn’t walk away with a simple answer to what true meaning is.

But hearing those different perspectives side by side gave me new ways of looking at my own life.

That’s why I love having these conversations.

They don’t give you certainty, but they do give you clarity.
