Experience the Most Powerful BMW in the world - BMW VISION DRIVING EXPERIENCE

In this video, we are joined by Jens Klingmann, Motorsport Racing Driver, and the main testing driver for the new BMW Vision Driving Experience (VDX). While in Shanghai, we had Jens take us for a ride with the BMW VDX, showing us and explaining to us the capabilities of the new electric test rig. He will showcase the insane power of the car - 18,000 Nm and over 1,300 hp - and the brake regeneration capabilities. Then finally, he will take us on a wild ride climbing a 55 degree ramp in Shanghai.

He will reveal a lot of the secrets of the BMW Vision Driving Experience and what technology we might see in the future in other BMWs.

This is the LONGEST BMW X3 EVER!

Welcome to our in-depth look at the all-new 2025 BMW X3 Long Wheelbase (G48), unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2025! This China-exclusive luxury crossover is BMW’s latest response to the growing demand for rear-seat comfort and premium features in the world’s largest automotive market.

Built by BMW Brilliance Automotive in Shenyang, the X3 Long Wheelbase stretches 110 mm longer than the global G45 model, bringing its total length to 4,865 mm (191.5 inches) and making it the largest in its segment. The extended 2,975 mm (117.1-inch) wheelbase translates to significantly more rear legroom and a host of comfort upgrades.

Inside, rear passengers are treated to:
• Reclining seats with extra cushioning and thigh support extensions
• Ambient lighting integrated into the rear door panels
• A wireless charging pad between the rear seats
• Optional rear pillows and two-tone Veganza (artificial leather) upholstery
• “Crafted Clarity” crystal-finished controls and an illuminated panoramic glass roof with a kidney grille-inspired pattern

Under the hood, the X3 LWB is available in two trims:
• xDrive 25L with 190 hp and 310 Nm of torque
• xDrive 30L with 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque

In many ways, the BMW X3 Long Wheelbase is the best X3 you can buy today!

I got more electric range in the New BMW M5 than BMW promised

Join us as we take the all-new 2025 BMW M5 (G90) on a real-world electric range test to see if this 717-horsepower plug-in hybrid super sedan can exceed its official EPA-rated 25-mile electric-only range.

Powered by a 577 hp twin-turbo 4.4L V8 engine and a 194 hp electric motor, the M5 boasts a combined output of 717 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. Its underfloor-mounted lithium-ion battery offers 18.6 kWh globally, though U.S. models have a usable capacity of 14.8 kWh due to regulatory constraints.

In our test, conducted under typical spring conditions in Chicago (55°F–60°F), we drove a mix of city streets and highways, maintaining natural driving habits with speeds capped around 65 mph. The result? An impressive nearly 40 miles of pure electric driving—surpassing the EPA estimate by 15 miles.
