This is our second safari with Nimali and we are fans! Welcome to Nimali Mara in the Northern Part of the Serengeti National Park bordering the Masai Mara in Kenya. Because we visited this safari camp in low season it felt like we were alone in the world because we kind of were. Nimali Mara is nestled amidst the rocky outcrops of the northern Serengeti, not too far from the Mara River. It is a smaller luxury safari camp which we truly prefer as it feels more wild and private. Our safari cottage was very spacious and comfortable with a king size bed, double shower, large bathtub and patio overlooking the Serengeti savannah.

The camp itself has an infinity pool with an impressive view and a restaurant and main lounge built into the natural features of the landscape. The service was simply outstanding just like at Nimali Serengeti which we visiting prior to this safari camp and of course our safari guide Daniel who stayed with us for both properties was one of the best guide we have ever had in whole of Africa.

Let us tell you something right from the start. If you follow a Halal lifestyle then this is the camp for you, no questions asked. With that being said, if like us Halal is not a requirement then don't worry about it because you won't notice it!

Starting from the food which is not only some of the best meals we have had in the bush of East Africa but simply some of the best meals we hav ever had period. The executive chef at Pearl Mara, originally from South Africa is so talented and creative and always makes sure that every single course is something you have never had before but also something that you will fall in love with. From homemade biltong, to french toast with real maple syrup and some of the best BBQ meats we have ever had in Kenya, there is a little bit of everything including some interesting twists on authentic Kenyan food. No, there is no wine but they have some delicious mocktails that will pair well with every dish.

The safari camp itself is one of the most beautiful we have seen in Kenya. Located on an escarpment, you will get some incredible views from the main lodge and from your safari suite which has a private jacuzzi. The rooms are spacious, the beds more than comfortables and the coffee bar always stocked with juices, snacks and more.

Because it is located in the Mara Triangle, you are pretty much guaranteed some of the must incredible game drives in Kenya. The Masai Mara National Park is known worldwide its incredible wildlife including elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, leopards, rhinos and more. If you are lucky enough, you might even see the big fives during your stay at Pearl Mara, who knows.

The Angama Mara safari camp probably has the most iconic location in Kenya. Located on top of an impressive escarpment overlooking the Masai Mara, this safari lodge offers some of the most incredible views you can get in whole of East Africa.

Bentley presents its latest luxury vision concept inside its brand-new design studio

EXP 15 represents Bentley’s design vision for the future, by taking inspiration from its early 20th century Grand Tourer heritage and interpreting it in a thoroughly modern 21st century way.

The EXP 15 concept embodies the five exterior design principles for Bentley that will influence its future production cars. The first principle is ‘Upright Elegance’ and expresses the idea that all the fronts of Bentley cars – in silhouette – should display a very gently curved vertical line, akin to the upper body of a thoroughbred horse, just after it has that walked forward and come to a confident stop.

The fifth interior design principle is a new one – dubbed ‘Magical Fusion’ – and is about Bentley’s intent to offer a mix of physical and digital features and in some instances merge the two. Like an update of Bentley’s existing ‘Rotating Dashboard’ which can reveal a infotainment screen at one moment and then rotate back to a solid dashboard surface when the screen is no longer required, EXP 15’s full-width dashboard can act as a digital interface for all manner of infotainment, or switch off to reveal a veneered wood surface visible underneath the glass. Also nestling centrally behind the screen is a clock-like device with multiple movable and illuminated fingers – called by its designers the ‘Mechanical Marvel’ – which can indicate the car’s direction of travel, the state of its electric charge and much more – or just be a delightful centrepiece to gaze upon.
